FOUNDER’S BIO

RCT is founded by Emine Akdağ in Istanbul in 2017 as a fashion retail consultancy company.
Emine’s educational background is composed of positive and social sciences. She is a Physicist with postgraduate degree on Business Administration and Marketing.

Prior to developing RCT, she held senior management positions as Project Manager for luxury department stores’ overseas openings.
She managed the opening of 10.000 sqm Harvey Nichols Store in Baku with 500+ brands and 9000 sqm Galeries Lafayette Store in Istanbul with 400+ brands.

Both was 360 degree retail project management with full responsibility on P&L, brand mix, commercial, buying and budgeting.
Before department store openings she worked for Bottega Veneta, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Beymen Department Stores.

While working for Beymen Department Stores, Emine is nominated as a Guest Lecturer at Bahcesehir University for Retail Management Class.
With comprehensive understanding of luxury retail business she is transferring her knowledge to emerging brands through creative marketing solutions and bespoke branding strategies.
